Community Events
Join us for a two hour Mothereze Brunch in Birmingham (UK), a carefully curated mother and baby experience where mums come together over good food, honest conversations and a shared season of motherhood. Spaces are limited to keep it intimate.
What to expect
a delicious brunch in a calm comfortable environment
Honest conversations and connection with other mums
A supportive, community focused atmosphere
Mini discussions from health professionals on wellbeing, self care and parenting.
Mothereze believe motherhood was never meant to be done alone. Our brunches are about creating community, easing the mental load and reminding mums that they deserve care and connection too.
This two hour workshop is designed for new mums who are beginning to think about weaning and want to feel prepared ahead of time. It’s suitable for all new parents offering practical introduction to the journey of starting solids. Current UK guidance recommends babies should be weaned around 6 months of age. This workshop is not about starting solids but about helping you understand what to expect and how to prepare on advance.
During the workshop, we will cover
An introduction to starting solids and what to expect
A practical weaning guide and printed guides to support you at home
Baby led weaning vs pureed foods, including the benefits of each approach
Choking awareness, including how to recognise the difference between gagging and choking and how to respond confidently in a emergency
A hands on element where you will take part in preparing a simple baby friendly meal, going the practical experience and ideas for when your baby is ready
